Texas Distiller’s Agent Permit

Beginning September 1, 2013, a distiller’s agent’s permit is available in Texas for $10. The permit authorizes the permit holder to: (1) represent a distiller’s and rectifier’s; (2) solicit and take orders from a wholesaler’s permittee for the sale of distilled spirits manufactured by the permittee represented by the agent; and (3) conduct free distilled spirits tastings for consumers on the premises of a package store permittee.
